About Me
Hays Hankinson is a local New York City hire, a dynamic performer who has made significant strides in the entertainment industry as a singer, dancer, actor, and choreographer. With a passion for captivating audiences through various forms of artistic expression, he is currently co-writing and producing his own musical dramedy pilot, "Pipe Dream."

Hays recently showcased his incredible talents in the dazzling production of "Broadway Bares: Pleasure Park." He has also graced the stage at the renowned 54 Below, participating in a show with Actor Therapy. The intimate setting of 54 Below allowed him to connect with the audience on a personal level, showcasing not only his vocal abilities but also his ability to emotionally resonate with the audience. Hays Hankinson, adopted at birth in Thomasville, Georgia, excelled in competitive dance for 12 years at The FIRM Dance Company, securing 23 national titles. His theatrical journey began in Thomasville, where he was a member of the Thomasville Music and Drama Troupe, affording him the opportunity to perform at the White House during Christmas in 2011. Memorable roles from his time in Thomasville Drama Department include Prince Dauntless in "Once Upon a Mattress" and PT Barnum in "Barnum: The Circus Musical."

At the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Hays earned a BFA in Performing Arts and a minor in Dance. Under the guidance of esteemed faculty, he honed his skills in singing, acting, stage combat, and various dance forms. Notable SCAD roles include André in the Student Emmy Award-winning sitcom "The Buzz" and Trevor/Doug in the play "Neighborhood 3." Now armed with a versatile skill set, Hays Hankinson is poised to make a lasting impact in the entertainment industry.

Hays has lived in New York City since January 2019, bringing an upbeat, fun-loving, and dedicated energy to all casts or sets he joins. Since relocating, he teaches and manages The Studio at Hoboken. He also takes dance classes at STEPS and Broadway Dance Center and has vocal lessons with Keiji Ishiguri, Natalie Weiss, and Samantha Alicandri.
